Attended the Baltimore Comic-Con 2014 and it was pretty awesome, there were a lot of people there but for some reason I felt like there was something missing. Not sure what is was, maybe because the setting was different this time around. The last Con had the main artists in the middle of floor but this time they were on the outside hugging the walls. All of the independent artists were in the middle along with the vendors. Maybe to give the main artists more room for people lining up, cause I tell you what, Gregg Capullo and George Perez had very looong lines that is for sure! There were the Cos-player as always in force, lots of creative costumes and lots of hot girls dressing up! There were some costumes that were almost movie quality, for example there was this guy dress up as the new Superman from the movie and his costume seemed to have been done by the studio itself. The dude wearing it was physically fit so he did fit the part well to pull it off. I think his costume was the more realistic one I saw there. I also met this one girl from Philli who was dressed up like Electro, her make up was really good but due to the day light, it took away the effect.
Overall I say there was a lot of people, but like I say in the beginning I was not into it like I would normally be. I think that going to the OTAKON last month and seen a sea of people, made the Comic-Con small in comparison. The massive amounts of people and the fact that it took the entire convention complex plus one or 2 hotels, it made the Con really small. Or, the fact that I haven't been drawing for so long and I'm feeling out of it could also be what gives me the feeling of being "out of it".
Anyway overall I had a nice time with my son and grandson so is all good! Going did gave me incentive to dig my stuff and hopefully I will get back to drawing again, I did dug up some old pads and pictures I did like almost 20 years ago. So I will be posting some, and finishing others to post. That is it for now, take it easy and talk to you all later!

Congratulations to Chezpizza!
So my son who's DeviantArt profile is Chezpizza (https://www.deviantart.com/chezpizza) Had his artwork published (https://futurepublishinghouse.com/?fbclid=IwAR2b8RuLbESRLJg21qpupjdXon14mAJZ9zLR_CMivSJW7xlBR7mqbNkp0UQ#jason-ruby-tony-lopez) He collaborated with his friend from college on a book that he was writing for kids, and my son drew the characters for him. The characters were all mythical creatures but in a elementary school kind of setting, and the whole thing is to teach kids using the characters, about friendship and helping one another. Anyway, I'm very proud of him and his friend for achieving that most of us sometimes dream of doing. I hope that the book will do well, and they can continue with more stories soon.

RIP Stan The Man Lee
You know it is really crazy, but the way I found out about Stan Lee's passing was after watching the Teen Titans Go Movie. I was watching it with my son and daughter, and in one scene here is in the background, Stan Lee! I was like, "Wait a minute, isn't that Stan Lee!?" Then he started to talk and it was him, the animated Stan was voiced by the man himself! I was like "Wow that is awesome that DC Animation had him in their animated movie!" Then the movie finished and we were talking about it, when my oldest son came in and he stated that Stan Lee had passed away! I was like "what did you said!?" For a second I was like man that is mes

It's always good to go to conventions, even as an artist/ vendor I always get inspired by the ambience, cosplayers and artists.
